Deirdre Imus, artist, painter of these four horse paintings collaborates with the accomplished, quite masterful jewelry artist, Jill Garber.

Our Collaboration is significant in bringing healing, grace and beauty together. The spirit of the jewels are nothing I’ve seen before. They have an attitude that is sure and confident, original and full of magnificence. These jewels represent the exterior beauty of the horse while highlighting the vulnerability and grace of my horses.

The jewels come from the earth and horses are one of the most graceful and beautiful of earthbound creatures that we can ever have the privilege of experiencing. My horses are painted from emotion that I feel from each one, their internal state. A state of being that I share with them almost in exchange for what happens in each piece I create.

I wanted to work with Jill because of her level of craftsmanship, originality, uniqueness and beauty she brings to each and every piece.

The adornment of the jewels place each horse in a “State of Grace.”

My deep purpose is to transcend my suffering and thru my art do that for others.

I’m proud to collaborate on these 4 paintings with Jill.
